1. Who are Fractal ID and why do you need to verify my identity?

BlockState is a regulated security token platform and in order to distribute equity in our company we are required by law to verify the identity of every investor who takes part in the token sale. The is in accordance with standard KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti Money Laundering) practises.

Fractal ID, an established German KYC/AML verification firm and our trusted partners, are fully regulated and experienced in handling sensitive information with care. During the investor verification process Fractal ID will ask you to provide documents to prove your identity and address. Only those who pass the verification process will be able to participate in the token sale.

2. What's an ETH wallet and how do I set one up?

An ETH wallet is an ethereum blockchain wallet used to store tokens and currency. The BlockState token (BKN) is an Ethereum (ERC-20) token, so when you invest we will send your equity backed tokens to the ETH wallet you provide.

3. Is the BlockState STO compliant and regulated?

BlockState is regulated by VQF under FINMA in Switzerland and is complaint with all applicable securities laws, regulatory requirements and data protection guidelines. Your investment is a traditional share represented by a token – protected under Swiss regulation. Please refer to the prospectus for further information.

4. What's an STO?

STO stands for Security Token Offering. The model is similar to the ICO (Initial Coin Offering), except investors receive tokens backed by underlying investment assets such as stocks, bonds and real estate.

It also shares similarities with the more traditional IPO (Initial Public Offering), except ownership information is recorded on a blockchain instead of a document or PDF.

5. What rights will I have as a shareholder in BlockState?

All BKN tokens are equity backed with holders granted voting rights and dividend rights.

6. What currencies can I use for my investment?

Both Fiat and digital currencies are accepted for the BlockState STO.
